Temperature and rain come from the ERA5 reanalysis — a fifteen-year average (2011–2025) for every day of the year, at each city's coordinates. “Chance of rain” is the share of those years in which at least one millimetre fell on that day.
The price and crowd indices are built from known demand patterns per destination, not from real price samples. We show them because timing without price is half an answer — and we call them estimates on every page rather than claiming precision.
